Active Sourcing assists its the clients over the entire Sourcing Life Cycle. Our services are available on demand and may include the return of individual outsourced services from a service provider to the client or the transition of services to another outsourcing partner. Any function of informatics (e.g. SAP operation, data center services, electronic workplace) or entire business processes (e.g. output management, payment transactions, transactions of securities) can become subject of a sourcing project.

Sourcing concept

We are developing a sourcing concept which is tailored to the individual situation of the client. The result may consist of a partial or a total outsourcing solution. The scope of services will be assigned to one or several partners (single, dual or multiple sourcing). Furthermore, the location of potential vendors is a significant factor (onshore, nearshore, offshore).

Request for proposal

The selection of potential vendors, the preparation of a requirement specification, the validation of tenders received as well as the creation of a reliable business case containing recommendations to management are part of the request for proposal process.

Contract negotiations

We contribute to the contract negotiations by defining the structure of the contract and by drafting to the contract documents (whereby a framework agreement usually becomes written by an attorney). We ensure that there are no gaps in the contractual obligations and service level agreements.

Transition

Depending upon the needs of the client and the type of sourcing to be implemented, services, the clients assets or personnel may all be transferred. Active Sourcing plans the transition, develops communication plans, arranges due diligence, guides acceptances and supervises the compliance of the deadlines.

Active Sourcing helps its clients to optimise their services by providing coaching in regards to the internal service management and the management of the external vendors. Furthermore, we assist our clients in optimising performance management (e.g. end to end measurement).
